Softworks has had the opportunity to work with many different professional associations in the past twenty years. Though it seems we are always learning something new, we feel comfortable claiming to have extensive domain knowledge in this area.
Our clients in this category include both associations that are licensing bodies and those that aren't. Most, but not all, are connected to health care. Our clients run from medical associations to engineering societies and from nursing associations to science and engineering technology professional associations.
Our flagship product in association management is Alinity, which is used primarily by professional licensing bodies. It comes with predefined content that provides membership management, case management, professional conduct management, committee or sub-group management, election management, task management and more. It also has the native ability to download financial transactions to several well-known accounting packages. Though described as a product, it can just as reasonably be described as a framework for development. It is easily configured to handle specialized requirements and new features and functions added for one client can be ported to the others at a relatively low cost.
